FACILITIES OFFICER –
MOLD TOWN COUNCIL
20 hours per week | SCP 7–12 (£25,584 – £27,711 pro rata, DOE)
Flexible working required, including some evenings and weekends.
Closing Date: Midnight Friday 30th January 2026
Mold Town Council is looking for a practical, reliable Facilities Officer who takes pride in keeping buildings, public spaces and community assets safe, clean and well-maintained. If you’re hands-on, organised and not afraid to get stuck in, this is a role where your work will make a visible difference every day.
About the Role
You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day upkeep of Council buildings and facilities, including cleaning, basic repairs, safety checks, unlocking/locking duties and supporting events and room bookings. The role also covers routine compliance tasks, contractor coordination and maintenance of external community assets such as benches, noticeboards, signage and defibrillators.
This is a varied, active job that takes you across several Council sites — indoors and outdoors, in all weathers — and you’ll be one of the key people ensuring everything is safe, tidy and ready for use.
This is a physical role involving manual work both indoors and outdoors. PPE is provided. Some out-of-hours work is expected with notice.
