Queen's Platinum Jubilee Celebration Thursday 2nd June, 12.00 - 15.00 Daniel Owen Square

Mold Town Council invites you to join them on Daniel Owen Square as we celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee with a community get-together from 12 noon through to 3.00pm
We will be serving free refreshments (tea & coffee) throughout the afternoon and Mold's popular bakers Cravin' will also be on the square selling their delicious fresh bakes and treats.
There will be entertainment from;
Mold Town Concert Band - Consists of approximately 40 very friendly musicians who play a variety of brass and wind instruments. The bands repertoire ranges from serene to swing - concert marches, contemporary, popular, classical, musical medleys, jazz and big band arrangements. Whilst occasionally tackling more challenging pieces, the emphasis is on performing a wide range of music whilst having fun!

Sharon Wallace - has been a vocal entertainer for over 32 years. Sharon regularly sings along with the residents of local care homes around Chester, Wrexham, Flintshire and The Wirral.  As a Dementia Champion also, Sharon understands the needs and requirements of residents living with dementia. Sharron also appeared on the BBC’s Michael Mcintyre Big Show On Christmas Day performing at the iconic London Palladium. www.thesharonwallace.com
The Barnstormers - A group friends who were experienced musicians decided to form this 5-piece Bluegrass Irish band. With foot stomping tunes from the Blue ridge mountains of USA, all their way back to their Irish roots. Banjo and lead vocals, Hillbilly John, Mandolin Sue, Big bad Bryan on the double bass & guitar, Bill on the fiddle, Keith on the Sax and flute, sounds unusual but fits in perfectly. This sing along music will soon have you foot tapping and up on your feet wanting a barn dance.
Join us for a relaxed afternoon and feel free to bring along your sandwiches to enjoy while you chat and listen to the music.
