Welcome to Flintshire's Historic Market Town of Mold
This site has been provided by Mold Town Council to inform residents and visitors about events, news, businesses, community groups and activities happening in the town as well as to provide information on the workings of the Town Council and its committees.
Mold is the county town of Flintshire. Flintshire County Council became the unitary authority after a re-organisation of local government in Wales in 1996. With a population of around 9,700 and many local organisations and groups, a bustling market held in the streets of the town, a cattle market and farmers market as well as its own theatre. Mold is a regular winner of the Flintshire Best Kept Communities Competition.
