Christmas Lighting Contract Opportunity – Mold Tow

Mold Town Council is inviting tenders from suitably qualified and experienced contractors for the installation, maintenance, removal and storage of the Council’s Christmas lighting scheme.

The contract covers the annual delivery of Christmas lighting throughout Mold Town Centre and includes:

• Installation of Council-owned Christmas lighting
• Christmas tree lighting and decoration
• Electrical testing and ongoing maintenance
• Emergency call-outs during the display period
• Inspection of relevant catenary and anchor infrastructure
• Removal of the lighting following the Christmas period
• Secure storage, inspection and management of the Council’s lighting stock

The contract will initially run for five years, covering the 2026 to 2030 Christmas seasons, with the option for Mold Town Council to extend the contract for a further year.

Prospective tenderers are strongly encouraged to visit Mold during the tender period to familiarise themselves with the locations, access arrangements and installation requirements.
