Remembrance Sunday Service 2018
Sunday 11th Nov 2018, St Mary's Parish Church, Mold
9.30am parade, 10.00am Church Service followed by parade to Town Cenotaph and 2 mins silence observed at 11.00am
Our annual Remembrance Service Parade with representatives of uniformed organisations and Members of Mold Town Council will be led by Mold Town Concert Band at 9.30am, up the high Street to St Mary’s Church as an act of remembrance and homage, to the fallen of the two World Wars and the various conflicts in which this Country has been involved since 1945, Church service will commence at 10.00am and
open to all,
Following the service the congregation will follow the parade to the Town Cenotaph and Garden
of Remembrance where two minutes silence will observed at 11.00am. Following the Service, the parade will assemble and march
to the Cenotaph and join others for the Act of Remembrance with the two minutes
silence being observed at 11.00am.
The Garden of Remembrance, dedicated in 1951,
enables us to express, by the laying of crosses and wreaths, our grateful and
proud remembrance of those who died in wars for our country and its causes.
